REEYA Verma

Reeya is a second-year from Augusta, Georgia, and having previously served on the outreach committee, she has cultivated meaningful connections within the Charlottesville community. Drawing upon her previous experience with TEDxYouth in her hometown, Reeya continues to embrace TED’s mission to discover and share “ideas worth sharing” and finds fulfillment in witnessing its exceptional growth here at UVA. Beyond TEDx, Reeya is often downtown attending concerts or finding the best vegetarian dishes.

Gretchen neary

Outreach

Gretchen is a fourth-year student from Richmond, VA studying psychology and Youth & Social Innovation. This is her fourth year as part of TEDxUVA and her favorite part of the club is hearing the incredible range of topics that students are passionate about. Outside of TEDx, Gretchen enjoys trying every ice cream spot in Cville and is on a mission to visit all 50 states.

Speakers

Tarini is a second-year from Frisco, Texas studying commerce and public policy. She has had a love for TED talks from a very young age and always dreamed about being involved in TEDx. She especially values TEDx’s unique environment, which is dedicated to sharing human experiences and tackling fundamental questions of the world. Outside of TEDx, Tarini loves to explore new Thai restaurants, visit art museums, and write.

RITIK VERMA

Ritik is a fourth-year student from Potomac, MD studying Biomedical Engineering and CS. He has worked with TEDxUVA since his first year, but has been watching TED talks since he was a kid. He thinks the vast diversity of perspectives shared through TED talks are not only fascinating, but also important for the world to hear. Outside of TEDx, Ritik loves to play golf and tennis, or you can find him on the patio of Trin with his friends.

Cole rozwadowski

Graphics

Cole is a second-year student from Culpeper, VA studying architecture. He has worked with graphics for the past two years and loves getting to combine his passion for design with his passion for TED talks. He believes getting to be part of helping spread “ideas worth sharing” is a privilege and he frequently pesters his friends to come and give their own TED talks each semester. Outside of TEDx, you can find Cole sketching on-grounds, glued to his desk at the architecture school, or looking for the best dumplings in Charlottesville.

Logistics

Arden is a second-year from Austin, Texas intending to study commerce and global development. She loves TED talks and even wrote her UVA admissions application about a TED talk that inspired her (check out the embedded link!). As logistics chair, Arden leads the team responsible for organizing the technological and logistical aspects of the conference. Outside of TEDx, Arden is involved in several organizations on grounds, and enjoys getting outside, spending time with friends, and trying new restaurants in Charlottesville.
